Festive box vol. 1

A festive box with a cause and meaning

A gift with the spirit of the North West.

We created this festive box as a meeting between three traditions characteristic of Northwestern Bulgaria – wine production, the Vidin porcelain, and hand-knitted fabrics.

Each item in the selection is linked to the history of the region and the people who continue to preserve its crafts.

What does Festive Box vol. 1 contain?

• One bottle of Bononia Estate wine – wine from a local grape variety, part of the high-quality range of the winery. A selection representing the wine heritage and terroir of the Danube region.
• Porcelain tea cup from Vidin – a product of the Bone Porcelain Factory „Bononia“, founded in 1926 and becoming part of the industrial and cultural history of the city. In 2026, 100 years will be celebrated since its founding.
• Hand-knitted terry goods from the Kulat area – made by a group of local women who continue the tradition of Bulgarian weaving and pass on their skills from generation to generation.

A gift in support of local traditions

With this festive selection, Bononia Estate presents products of local origin and supports the people who create them.

From the vineyards near the Danube to the history of Vidinian porcelain and the traditional weaving – every part of the box carries something characteristic of Northwestern Bulgaria.

Festive box vol. 1 It combines these three traditions into a gift that showcases the region through its wines and crafts.
